Wedding??? What wedding…

Sunday? I?ll start after the golf game on Friday where Warren and ME kicked ass and made 50 bones each. After the round we all went our separate ways, all to meet back at Jeff?s place before the rehearsal. Those gave me 2 hours to get shit together, shit, shower, save the shave for another time, get some grub, and then off I went. The rehearsal was pushed back an hour (stupid Country Club having a tournament), so we chilled with Jeff’s and Nicole’s, off to the rehearsal.

That took about an hour, and had all the movements nailed down, then back to Jeff?s place for some more chilling. Two hours later, me, Warren, Arron, Glen (soon to be new brother-in-law), and Jeff took off to spend the night at Warren?s. Once there we broke out the poker chips and LET Jeff win back some money. Of course this lasted till 5am (all of us were up at 8am to play golf), we were drunk and sleepy, so we went to bed. Being a little short on beds I paired up with Warren, only to find he grinds his teeth EVERY ten minutes, of course that was better then the nasal symphony happening in the living room from Arron and Glen, and Jeff? he needs to get used to sleeping by himself (hehehe). Then at 8am there was a sound heard throughout the house; to me it sound like Death was in the house making its rounds; to Warren it was his puppy Scout, it had to go pp. So I was now up for the day, grabbed a coffee when out to the deck to watch Warren?s bitch play in the yard and eat grass (the puppy Kim, the puppy). (this is already long, might want to go get a snack) Everybody ELSE started coming around and getting out of bed at about ten-thirty, more coffee. The marriage thing was starting to set-in on Jeff, so after the first round of coffee, his turned to beer (which he nursed for quite sometime). There was a whole bunch of ?shooting the shit? and hotdogs, before the videographer guy showed up. He was there around one-thirty-ish. Now everybody was on beer, so the video guy walked around asking questions, he had already done the Q&A with the bridal party, and now it was are turn. After we got dressed in the penguin suits he asked us questions separately, there is a good chance I made an ass of myself. 😉 Off to the wedding? Jeff and Nicole?s wedding went off without a problem, their ceremony was beautiful, but it was NOTHING like the rehearsal, and I do mean NOTHING, everybody did an amazing job of winging it, because know body was the wiser, they thought it was all planned. EVERYBODY IN THE GOLF CARTS!!! Then it was time for pictures, so off we go, 10 golf carts flying down the trails to a very scenic spot on the golf course. OH MY, there was the beer cart (I?ll insert pic), right were we were, how convenient. 🙂 He took his time taking the pictures, but he did a good job setting up the shots, so as long as his camera had film it would be good. Supper? mmm? Good food was eaten by all, really good food; Prime Rib, Mozzarella Ham Chicken, and veggies. All the speeches came next; first was Nicole?s time to be embarrass, Glen and her nephew took honours, very well done; maid of honour was next, well done. Now it was Jeff?s turn; Billy Jeff?s long time brother-in-law gets high marks for using pictures to get his point across, he got Jeff to hide under the table; then Warren had his chance to take a few shots, all on target; fun was had by all. The rest of the night was a haze, either by beer or rage (me and weddings don?t go well, see past posts), but they are a beautiful couple, and I know they will have a wonderful life together. To Nicole and Jeff Salmela, may your days be long so you can enjoy every moment together, I don?t see this as losing a friend, but gaining another one. (a kind and generous one) On a different note, props go out to Jamie and Shannon VanDalen, just married also down in Hamilton area, sorry about missing the shindig. Time for something else in really life, I’m out.
