Hello everyone, just have a some small bits of news.
Not sure if it’s note worthy, or if you even want to know about it, but I just need to post something up… trying to get into the bi-monthly updates again.
Lets see how that goes. 😉

As you know Jen and I are having a baby, and things are going well in that area, and there have only been some minor freak outs and cravings. The rents just sent this to me, to remind me of what’s coming… the little guy is Logon, son of a friend from the TBay.

I have spent part of the weekend geeking out over a new router that I picked up last week, and one thing that I found was… the firmware it comes with is shit! That might be a bit harsh, the firmware it came with worked, but after updating to the latest and greatest, it broke in a weird way, the NAT table would not pass the local traffic through to roninspawn.ca, so I could not see my own site?!?! 😡
So when the inner (outer, never sure anymore) voice stopped screaming, I started “googling” to see what’s going on, and that’s when I found that I wasn’t alone with this issue. After about an hours worth of reading I found out that my new router was boned if I stick to the newer firmware from the company, but I also found that it was VERY hack-able router and can run the likes of dd-WRT and TomatoUSB, which increase the funtions of the router greatly, and that’s that, so… w00t! 😀

Last thing.
WTF Mother Nature!!! It’s January…
