Well I started this post a while back (weekend of Sophie’s birthday), so the time frames might be a bit off.
At this moment I am sitting by a BBQ cooking hotdogs and sausages for Sophie’s 3rd birthday party… listening to the kids inside… enjoying the peace.
I took Friday off June 5th) for Sophie’s birthday to spend the day with her, but ran into a snag… I got sick, and still am. So that was fun.
All in all, Sophie had a good weekend, started with birthday presents in the morning from mom/dad and Alex. That was followed by some eggs (Sophie’s choice), then followed up with a Skype chat with grandma and grandpa. After this most things were a blur… cold caught up with me, I know I went to St John’s to visit mom, and there was a smoothie after that, and “Frozen”, but it is all fuzy.
Saturday was the big party, in looking back on Jen’s past planning, this was down right small… so ya I started this a few weeks ago, but didn’t have time to finish, just blame the kids and cold.
Snap back to today. (still a week old, like said time frames are out)
Speaking of colds… Jen is hacking up a lung again, and Alexander has something making his eyes a crusty mess (poor kid), eyes are almost sealed shut in the mornings. Jen spends the time cleaning them up, but he enjoys that about as much as Sophie enjoys having her hair done…. so not at all.
Now it’s today… (June 28th)
Summer is here, Jen is off, and computer summer jobs are going to start in full swing.
Work is going to be busy and a lot of traveling, going around to schools making heat maps for wireless,and seeing if new access points are needed. Speaking of access points, all the ones in the high schools need to be replaced with new ones so we have some to put in the elementary schools… so good times ahead.
